Shopify SEO is mostly about unique product and collection pages, clean URL structure, and content that answers buying questions before checkout. Themes and apps help, but they do not replace useful copy.

Start with the catalogue

Supplier descriptions and thin variants are the usual failure mode. Prioritise collections and products that already convert or carry margin. Write unique intros for collections and specifics for hero products.

For foundational how-tos, see the existing Shopify SEO guide, product page SEO, and Shopify guide.

Internal links

Connect collections ↔ products ↔ guides. A buying guide that never links into the catalogue wastes the click. Use the store's own information architecture rather than a separate blog silo.

Markets and domains

If you sell across regions, plan Markets, domains (including .co.uk), and hreflang before scaling content. See Shopify Markets, .co.uk and hreflang.

Genseo audits the site, finds high-impact gaps, and drafts citation-ready pages you can publish after review. Explore ecommerce or home.
