# Site health

Site health is the audit of your pages: technical issues, thin content, and whether a page is sound enough to be cited.

[AI search visibility](https://www.genseo.co/ai-search-visibility) is whether an answer names you. [Opportunities](https://www.genseo.co/opportunities) is the task list built from this audit. [Citation tracking](https://www.genseo.co/citation-tracking) is which sources the answer used.

## What the audit holds

The figures below are published reach and conversion numbers. They are not a Genseo benchmark. The score in the product demo is sample data.

## On the audit

### The score

One number for the last audit. It is not a Google ranking, and it is not a mention. The page table is what the number is made of.

### Technical

Broken links, canonicals, and pages a crawler cannot use. If the page cannot be read, an answer has nothing on that URL to cite.

### Content

Thin copy, weak titles, and pages that do not answer the question. The words on the URL are what an answer would have to use.

### AEO

Whether the page is structured so an answer can cite it. A page that is hard to parse is a page the model is less likely to use.

### Issues

The open findings on that URL, and the date of the last audit. A finding stays on the row until the next crawl clears it.

### The next audit

Run the crawl again and the score moves. A mention is a separate check. The audit does not read what the answer said.

## FAQ

### What is site health?

The audit of the pages on your site. It covers technical issues, content, and whether a page is in shape to be cited. The questions you care about still come from [prompt research](https://www.genseo.co/prompt-research).

### How is this different from AI search visibility?

[AI search visibility](https://www.genseo.co/ai-search-visibility) is whether an answer names you. Site health is the page itself: titles, links, content, and the issues on the URL. A healthy page can still be unnamed. An unhealthy one is a weak thing to cite.

### What does the score mean?

It is the audit score for the site in the product, split across technical, content, and answer-readiness checks. The number in the demo is sample data for a catalog. It is not a benchmark for your site.

### How does an issue become work?

[Opportunities](https://www.genseo.co/opportunities) is the task list built from the audit and from the prompts you watch. A broken link or a thin page shows up there with a priority. [Content creation](https://www.genseo.co/content) is where a new page goes once you decide to ship it.

### Does a clean audit guarantee a citation?

No. [Citation tracking](https://www.genseo.co/citation-tracking) is which sources the answer actually used. Site health is whether your page is fit to be one of them.

### How is this different from a technical SEO crawl?

A crawl finds broken links and missing tags. Site health keeps that, and it keeps the page next to the answer you are trying to earn. See the [Ahrefs alternative](https://www.genseo.co/compare/genseo-vs-ahrefs) and [Semrush alternative](https://www.genseo.co/compare/genseo-vs-semrush) pages.
